Back ChatGPT into a corner ChatGPT tries to do exactly what you say. So give it guard rails and back it into a corner using negative prompts. eg don’t use emojis, or I don’t want flowery language
Follow-up prompts rock Follow-up prompts improve ChatGPT’s output. For example, after the ChatGPT output, ask: “I like your output, but what would an [subject] expert say about in?”. Or “Thanks. Now ask me any questions you need answering to improve [the output]. Make sure you go into enough detail to write an exceptional sales letter.”
Should I upgrade to ChatGPT Plus for GPT-4? 100% yes. The outputs are much better than GPT-3. if you are on a budget, use Bard or Bing Chat which are free and both better than GPT-3.
Create long form prompts from voice ChatGPT understands language even when it isn’t perfectly explained, has misspelling or bad grammar. So se the voice recognition tools on your PC and phone to dictate long form prompts directly into ChatGPT. This works exceptionally well.
Create a prompt library In ChatGPT it’s hard to remember your prompts. So use a tool like TextExpander to create a prompt library which you can access using short codes or copy and paste. Alternatively save your best prompts as text files within a folder and name each file descriptively.
Use the ChatGPT mobile apps for searching chat history
ChatGPT web version doesn't have a search, but the mobile apps do. So use the iOS or Android app to find your old chats.
Think of ChatGPT as a member of your team If you think about having a conversion with a member of staff that can do whatever you ask through a conversion the better results you will get. Eg clear instructions!
