Act like an expert in [expert]

Always think of ChatGPT as a person or consulate expert.

ChatGPT is more time upfront for better answers It’s like Google in reverse - you spend more time asking but less time searching for answers.

Be specific The more specific the prompt, the better the output. You need to tell ChatGPT exactly what you want, just like you would give a task to a co-worker. The more detail, the better.

Follow-up prompts rock

Follow-up prompts improve ChatGPT’s output. For example, after the ChatGPT output, ask: “I like your output, but what would an [subject] expert say about in?”. Or “Thanks. Now ask me any questions you need answering to improve [the output]. Make sure you go into enough detail to write an exceptional sales letter.”

Should I upgrade to ChatGPT Plus for GPT-4? 100% yes. The outputs are much better than GPT-3. if you are on a budget, use Bard or Bing Chat which are free and both better than GPT-3.

There’s sales copy gold in your inbox

Save all the sales emails that resonate with you in a swipe file. Then get ChatGPT to rewrite a version for you to use.

Stop generating

If your ChatGPT is off and running, but you’ve made a mistake, click stop generating, then edit your prompt by clicking the edit icon on the top right of it.

Ask for feedback Once you’ve got an answer, ask ChatGPT for feedback on it, or if it could give you a better answer with more information.

Reuse previous chats If you’ve had a great chat before and you now have something similar, go back into that chat and keep it going. ChatGPT will remember previous work you have done there. You can rename saved chats on the left by clicking on it and then hitting the pen icon.

Use ChatGPT as front-line tech support If you have a software, internet, hardware, or any tech question, ask ChatGPT first. It can solve so many tech problems that would usually be solved by a person.

ChatGPT is not always right ChatGPT does not know if the answer it gives is right or wrong; it gives you text based on what is mostly a statistical probable of what should come next. So, for anything really critical, check it is right.
